After Jesus’ crucifixion and burial, the disciples are left distraught and afraid. However, after His resurrection, Jesus greets the disciples with commands of peace and promises the Holy Spirit. In a sermon from John 20:19-23, we see that only through a relationship with Jesus Christ can we have peace with God, and our relationship with Him gives us the power to do what He has commanded by the power of the Holy Spirit.
