The film that our co-hosts discuss this week is a piece of historical fiction based on the painting 1779 depicting the black Lady Dido Elizabeth Belle and her white cousin Lady Elizabeth Murray and the Zong insurance case, 1783, and helped lay the groundwork towards the British abolition of the Slave Trade.
