However, the true meaning of life is found in acknowledging God's sovereignty and living with eternity in view. Donna Gaines walks through Solomon's realization that both the righteous and the wicked have the same fate: death. However, we are reminded of God's power over death. As believers, we can find freedom from the fear of death when we focus on life above the sun. As it is written in Nehemiah 8:10, "the joy of the Lord is your strength"; so we can be joyful in knowing that Jesus has conquered the grave and that we have eternal life with Him.
