Be it within yourself, between you and others, or as a result of your surroundings, peace is essential, and one thing I've learned is that intentionality yields peace.
In this episode I'll share with you ways in which I have seen how your self-identity, friendships, interactions, surroundings, and faith, impact one's peace.
I hope this episode is helpful in giving you ideas to better steward your peace. Thank you for being here, I'm glad you are.
In this weeks episode, I discuss pursuit of the Bible!
This episode is testimonial... I share why I began seeking the Lord through His Word, how it offered me a merit based understanding of and confidence in following the Lord and walking out the Christian faith, and how ultimately how the Word has influenced my life as I've sought intimacy with God and answers in this way.
I hope this discussion is encouraging and thank you for being here, I'm glad you are :)
Hey everyone! In this episode of the Beloved and Lowly Podcast, I do a LOT of updating - how was summer, what have I been up to, where have I been, and what has the Lord been doing in and through my life and teaching me - all these questions, I answer!
I also had a bit of homework from our last episode titled, "Faith Fundamentals: Who Is Jesus?," where I discussed salvation. In recording this episode, it was revealed to me that I was not well versed in this topic, but that it was important I be. Thus, I took some time to research and was intent to come back with answers to the questions I did not know the answers to or struggled to explain.
The bible says to be ready!
"Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." - Matthew 24:44
"but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect..." - 1 Peter 3:15
"preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching." - 2 Timothy 4:2
So I went and read, prayed, listened, sat and allowed the transformation of my mind to take place so that I would be better able and equipped to share!
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2
The whole point of this episode can be found in the last 30 minutes, starting at 45:35 where I respond to my questions from the previous episode and share about the Gospel! We will read out of Romans 10:5-17 at 47:07.
I hope you enjoy this episode! Let me know what you think and what you may want to hear in future episodes. Thanks for being here, I'm glad you are!

Hey there! Thank you for tuning in to the podcast.
For this episode, I invited my friend, Jewels, to come on and discuss our considerations of romantic relationships in this season of our lives - single, in university, pursuing our professions, and learning who we are as individuals.
You can expect to hear conversation on the fruit of patience, the reality of waiting and hoping, laying down the idol of romance, acknowledging the realities of pursuing a relationship, and a look into how we have prioritized our time in our singleness.
Theme Verse: Song of Solomon 2:7 ESV
I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the does of the field, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases.

“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV
^ I LOVE this passage; 1 Thessalonians 5, you should surely take some minutes this season to go through and read some of these words of Paul.
