Ben Besant was the tactical officer who shot and killed terrorist Man Monis in the 2014 Lindt Cafe siege. However for a decade he was only publicly referred to as “Officer A” due to a suppression order from the government.

Now that order has been lifted and Ben is finally able tell his own story and reclaim his identity.
