Ben spent his early career in the non league side of football. After this he moved to Sweden for the opportunity to make it as a professional in the game we all love.

Being diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic he became the only player in The EFL to have diabetes yet still compete at such a high level.

After a horrific injury 2 years ago he was part of a BBC documentary titled “Coming Back” in which he showed his fight, desire and dedication to bounce back as a top athlete.
