On this episode I had a very insightful conversation with my friend Ben Laine. A few days after recording this episode Ben had a video go viral on TikTok earning him over 7 million views and landing him an article on Newsweek. The article predicts his next single releasing tomorrow 1/29/21 “Did You Call Me Last Night” will be the next “Drivers License."
On this episode we talked about how Ben started off his career recording a 9 song album using only his iPhone 6, and how that lead him to eventually finding a manager and playing numerous festivals and tours. We discussed how his parents and manager have instilled the importance of always keeping things in perspective and giving God the glory for everything that happens along the way.
Throughout this entire interview you can hear how he has always looked to serve others first and steward the gifts God has given him. Ben has been working hard to help others all while developing his skills as an artist, songwriter and recording engineer.
His future in the music industry is bright and I believe it’s because he always remembers why he does it, and Who he is doing it for.
