Gary (Ben Mendehlsohn), picks him up for the airport as he...Return Home.That's an incredibly boring synopsis for a movie that is a real gem. If you read that, you'd never watch it. And you couldn't anyways, unless you're in Australia. But? This movie is really beautiful and tender. The relationships are kind, the brotherly love is strong but unspoken. Gary is kind of a dufus, but he wants to be better. Again, this doesn't make it sound great, however, this is easily one of the best movies we've covered on this podcast. At about the halfway point, you realize the brother needs to move home and help with this gas station or it will go under and you are wildly excited for that decision to be made. We highly recommend this movie and maybe if you email Australia (just in general), you can talk them into streaming the remastered blue ray to the world.
