Ben Moore has been beekeeping for over 25 years and around the age of 12 he found a book on beekeeping in the UK and was fascinated. When he was 14 he told his parents that he didn’t want a puppy or a kitten – he wanted a bee hive! This started his journey into the wonderful world of bees which eventually led to Bens Bees which has now been operating for 10 years.  One of the best things he loves about his job is getting out and about with local people, sharing the knowledge about bees, the environment, produce, gardening and healthy living.

Ben has been a representative at local and international conferences and has appeared on popular TV and radio programs (including The Project, ABC radio, Network Ten News, and Channel Nine’s reality show, Dream Job)
