Ben Simmons took to the mic on Nets Media Day and brought the fanbase up to speed on what to expect going forward this season. And that’s going to be a defensive presence who wants to make others around him better. For Simmons, it was one of the first times he’s spoken to reporters for quite a while but he appeared willing and ready to go both from a public relations standpoint and on the basketball court as well. It sounds like the work with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is going well (he called it “incredible”) and for Simmons, this is a year with something to prove.
