Bo’i Palu or Bou’i Palu for the gramatically correct:) 
is an expression in Papiamentu that means “underneath the tree”. This expression is mainly used to characterize the hang out spot in the neighborhood where the men tend to meet, hang out, play dominoes and talk about what ever comes to mind.
Bo’i Palu in someway is the island’s own version of a man cave.
