Mankind has always been, and still is, searching for lost things and lost places. Explorers always head to the frontier and venture beyond, in search of discovery and glory. Most fail, but a few succeed.

Man has always been enamored with gold. The Gold Rushes of the 1800’s bear vivid testimony to the eternal human lust for this yellow precious metal. Wars have been fought over it and people live and die because of it. The economy flourishes and booms based on gold. It is the ultimate love-hate relationship.
