Bernard has made a return visit to our area to promote his new book, "Miss Perfect".

Here, Bernard fondly reminisces on his time as a Lecturer at Durham University and later as a social worker based in Shildon and Spennymoor.

Bernard has drawn on these memories to produce a story which, according to Mike Amos, is "wry, amusing, perceptive, insightful and greatly entertaining."
