Chloe Simmons of Lake Michigan Catholic High School Competitive Cheer is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of February 10, 2019.

At the Lakeshore Escape to the Lake Invitational, Chloe played a big role as the Lakers broke three school records and placed first in their division. She them helped lead Catholic to a third place finish at Districts and a trip to Regionals. During the District competition, the Lakers posted the 10th highest round three score in the state so far this season.

Chloe has earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Region, and Academic All-State honors. She is also a member of the softball team, National Honor Society, Debate team, and SADD. In the classroom, she carries a 3.83 grade point average.

Chloe is the daughter of Kevin and Carolyn Simmons of South Haven.
