Mark and Neal devote an extra long episode to David Fincher as part of their modern era Director series part two. Sometimes compared to Hitchcock for his meticulous style, Fincher is at the forefront of digital filmmaking and integration of seamless VFX. All ten of his films are discussed in detail, along with his approach to directing. This was one of Mark and Neal's favorite episodes to record, and due to unfortunate technical difficulties, Neal's microphone cuts out at 7 minutes, leaving just raw audio. After much deliberation, instead of trashing the episode all together, they have salvaged what they could so that it could be presented as it was recorded. Apologies for any audio issues.
