Hey Dads,

I was listening to a podcast and the host recommended getting a field guide or pocket notebook to keep in your back pocket so that you can easily have pen and paper on you at all times. I am using this pocket notebook to write down things that I am grateful for throughout my day.

Then later on that night or whenever I need a confidence boost, I go back to my pocket notebook and read all of the things that I have written down that I am thankful for. I also write down accomplishments that I have achieved to remind me that I have overcome certain obstacles in work and life.

I keep mine in my back pocket, and a lot of the time I forget about it, so it does not bother me when I’m sitting down because it is pretty thin. The guy on the podcast also mentioned getting some small golf pencils to keep with it so that you always have something to write with.
