I used the Sony VCT-1170RM Tripod with the Sony HDR-AX2000 for a video shoot recently, and it was the best tripod. I was shooting a video of an event and it was the best tripod for video, and a DSLR would fit great on this tripod making it the best tripod for DSLR.
