Hey Dads,

My son loves trains, and one of our neighbors was getting rid of their wooden train sets with the train set table. She gave it to us and my son loves creating these big elaborate train sets all over our house.

We have 2 different sets of wooden train track, and I noticed that the connector pieces are different on some of the train track. The ones with the little ball tend to fall out and then they get lost and renders that piece of track useless. But even if you get an all wooden train track, we have had problems with the wood chipping on the track, but I still prefer this type.

Another issue with wooden train sets is that they are all over the place and they don’t get picked up. I have stepped on so many pieces of train track in the dark. This is why I would suggest that you get a table specifically for your wooden train set.
