Hello everyone! Sorry for the late upload, I had to figure out a new editing software but anyways it’s here! Today we have a video game episode for y'all, it’s definitely been a minute. But before that, let’s do some news of the week. We got word that Disney+ will be developing a Percy Jackson series with the original author attached, Mark Hamill says goodbye to Luke Skywalker, Mando S2 welcomes Bo-Katan with the original voice actor in live action, Paper Mario: The Original Origami King announcement & we got our first look at Unreal Engine 5 on PS5. Which brings us to the topic. Today we thought, to somewhat connect it to Unreal Engine 5, we do a video game topic! So we discuss the most well written vs disappointing video game deaths. From Call of Duty to Final Fantasy we discuss how a really badly executed death will leave a player with a sour taste of possibly laziness or carelessness of certain characters, On the other hand, we get into why a good death can impact both the player & the world within the game. Let us know which video game deaths you picked! If you enjoyed this episode and want to continue to support us, you can leave a review on iTunes or recommend it to a fellow nerdy friend. You can also follow the show @nerdsbelikepod on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook. And if you have a topic you want us to cover, you can email us at
