Anthony has faced adversity his entire life, always being the underdog and under recruited as a baseball player, and struggled to find the field early in college, but he never stopped working hard and betting on himself. Last year Anthony was drafted in the 34th round of the Major League Baseball draft to the Washington Nationals out of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Anthony was a teammate of mine at UTRGV and the captain of UTRGV in 2019 where we went on to win the WAC regular season championship.

Anthony is a tremendous leader and his ability to constantly push himself to get better and improve is super inspiring.
