​Born and raised in South Florida to a rockstar single Jamaican mother, NYC transplant Anna-Kay Thomas has always worked against the odds to pursue her dream career in entertainment media.

Following years of hard work, Anna-Kay's life changed for the better after she competed for and won a DreamJobbing competition to be a Social Buzz Reporter onVH1's Big Morning Buzz Live hosted by Nick Lachey. She has since interviewed the likes of Kevin Jonas, Hoda Kotb, John Starks, D.M.C. and more for various outlets. Prior to VH1, Anna-Kay demonstrated her red carpet talent and editorial prowess for FOX and The International Fashion Times.

Anna-Kay currently hosts and assists in the production of The Bachelorette Recap for Condé Nast and was recently highlighted by Arianna Huffington and featured onThe Huffington Post, discussing her path to entertainment.

As a result of her own humble upbringing, Anna-Kay advocates for arts programming and accessible college education and mentors young women in media, TV and film. She loves snowboarding, traveling, cooking and Dartmouth (her alma mater). She is an award-winning and nationally-ranked slam poet and was also an official contestant in the 2016 Miss New York USA pageant.
