Founder (idea person, with undiagnosed ADD!)
I’m that ‘older’ mom who took a leap of faith and started Shine Social Co. way back in January of 2019, just before Covid. Lucky me...I started working from home before it became “the way of life” for everyone and I don’t plan on going back!After praying for a great WFH career for 17 years (when my 1st child was born), I stumbled across virtual assistant positions. After stuttering through several video interviews, I decided to hire myself. Honestly, I thought I would be creating Facebook ads and email funnels selling skincare products, but that wasn’t my path. Instead, my first 2 clients wanted social media management, so I enthusiastically agreed (hey...they were opportunities!), opened my first Instagram account, and taught myself how to do just that and the rest is history!I truly LOVE what I do in being behind the scenes of building businesses. Being self-taught, I want to help other mature women feel confident in social media without having to experience the fails. There’s plenty of room at this table and you are welcome to join!
