Meet Beth Loster, Founder and Owner of A Thousand Mornings Forest School in Santa Barbara. In this episode, Beth talks about how she has learned to silence the curmudgeon in her head that lives in fear and uses words like “should” and “no”. Instead, Beth has learned to listen to that inner voice in side of her, her own inner philosopher, to guide her on her life’s journey. After spending years trying on different personalities, from Bohemian to Star Student to Wild Child, she finally found that just being herself brought her the peace she so longed to embrace. Beth has dedicated her life to guiding young children to trust their inner knowing through outdoor play, and her hope is that her work will create a generation of humans who never lose touch with their own unique intuition. Following her intuition, she has built a thriving forest school and a beautiful family with the boy she followed across the country. Beth shares her amazing philosophy on education, and how personal empowerment is possible in even the smallest of humans, as long as the adults get out of the way.
