Dr. Shepherd's guests today are Bethany Klug, D.O., and Brother Chan Huy. Dr. Klug founded the Heartland Community of Mindful Living in 1997 and is the Sangha Elder. She was ordained into Thich Nhat Hanh's Order of Interbeing in 2000. Chan Huy comes from a family with four generations of Thich Nhat Hanh's students, from his grandmother to his two daughters. Born in Vietnam, Chan Huy today lives in Ottawa, Canada, where he recently retired from a career as an engineer. He is among the most accomplished and articulate of Thich Nhat Hanh's Dharma teachers.
