1 Corinthians 1:4-7, 10 (NLT) 4 I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts he has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. 5 Through him, God has enriched your church in every way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge. 6 This confirms that what I told you about Christ is true. 7 Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Life can be hard sometimes. A comfortable life can be disrupted suddenly and life becomes hard. Having a medical crisis or loss suddenly hit can bring hard things and can also bring some meaningful things. Isaiah 61:1-4 NLT, The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me  to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.2  He has sent me to tell those who mourn  that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. 3 To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. 4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations.

Isaiah 61:7 Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will SHOUT FOR JOY over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting JOY will be theirs.

WHEN JESUS IS IN THE MIDDLE… EVERYTHING FALLS INTO PLACE - WHEN JESUS ISN’T IN THE MIDDLE… EVERYTHING FALLS APART

Colossians 3:16-17 16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

17 Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
