Passover is the blood of the Lamb that protected God’s people and their household from the death angel. This was the last and final plague that was brought by God to deliver His people from bondage and captivity in Egypt.  It was what set them on their journey in a desert place where they had to trust in God and die to their old life so they could enter into their promise.  Jesus was the Passover Lamb of God, slain to wash away their sins and to bring them out of the bondage of sin and captivity
