As we begin our Lenten journey, we reflect on the betrayal of Jesus by Judas, His disciple. Jesus knew the cost of His mission: betrayal by one who had walked with Him. Yet, even in betrayal, Jesus extended love and forgiveness. This message challenges us to examine our own hearts and consider how we, too, may betray Jesus through our choices and actions, and how He offers forgiveness and restoration. It also serves as a reminder to us to forgive those whom we feel have betrayed us.
