Better Problem Solving Part #2: The 4 Simple Steps to BETTER Problem Solving

Listen Later

One of the basic struggles many of us have when we’re looking to improve our wellbeing is solving the problems along the way. Whether you’re trying to get rid of some body fat and hit a weight loss plateau, are working toward a deadlift personal record and can’t seem to progress your weights, or are looking to run your first marathon but can’t seem run further than 5 miles without being in pain, the likelihood of you running into a problem is VERY high! So it’s important that we learn to overcome problems as they arise and, over time, become more and more confident in our ability to find solutions we need to. The problem is, many of us look for any and all EXTERNAL reasons as to why we’re having trouble overcoming a problem we run into. This is problem because, about 80% of the time, WE are the problem. In other words, when it comes to problem solving, we get in our own way more often than not. And, until you come to understand how your progress is being held up by YOU, you’ll always have a hard time achieving the things you’re after, whether that’s health and fitness mastery, more wealth, better relationships, or a more fulfilling career. That is going to be the main focus of this upcoming series: how we stand in our own way when we’re trying to solve problems and how we can start to move ourselves aside so we can move forward again. Because the longer we stay still, the more likely we’ll end up quitting our endeavor altogether. As Sir Isaac Newton tells us, an object in motion stays in motion, and an object at rest stays at rest, unless an equal and opposite force acts upon it. In this episode of Better Problem Solving (part #2) we discuss… · Why you need to learn to accept your REALITY and move on· How to recognize a symptom verses the root problem· The 3 steps to take to develop a plan of ACTION· The MOST important step in ALL of problem solving that you’re missing· So much more… Be sure to connect with Thriveology and Good Wolf Radio: Thriveology: http://bit.ly/3TILsVR Good Wolf Radio: http://bit.ly/42I0lMf Instagram: https://bit.ly/3K6XGVl Facebook: https://bit.ly/3LKDpGh
