Camp Session 2: On the night before He dies, Jesus tells His disciples something hard to hear: it is actually better for them that He leaves. Why? Because the Helper is coming. In John 16, Jesus walks through three things the Spirit does once He arrives: He helps us, He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and He continues Jesus' ministry through us. The Spirit makes it all about Jesus, never pointing to Himself or to us, but always to Christ. Stop trying to live the Christian life on your own strength and receive the Helper Jesus promised.
