Compared to other similar units, this keychain flashlight/torch has much better circuitry and charges quickly.
This unit has a few modes.
Press and hold the button for brief flashlight mode. The main LED lights at full intensity while the button is pressed.
To latch the main LED on, double click the button and then click it again to step through the intensity settings. The full intensity setting will gradually reduce to 10% to avoid overheating the LED.
To turn the light off, press and hold the button. It will remember the last setting of the main LED.
For the side LEDs, click the button three times. The modes can then be stepped through with further button presses.
Mode 1 - White LED.
Mode 2 - White LED flashing.
Mode 3 - Near UV LED.
Mode 4 - Red LED.
Mode 5 - Red LED flashing.
Mode 6 - Red and blue flashing effects.
Press and hold to turn the light off.
The lithium cell capacity tested at 105mAh. It charges quickly at 400mA, and can still be used while charging.
Main LED current at 4V:-
High = 420mA, but slowly reduces to 42mA to protect the LED from overheating.
Medium = 106mA.
Low = 23mA.
Lowest = 10mA.
At 3V the main LED current is about a third of the 4V value.
Side LEDs current at 4V:-
White = 64mA.
White flashing = 32mA.
UV = 11mA.
Red = 60mA.
Red flashing = 30mA.
Red/blue flashing = 30mA.
At 3V the side LED current is about half except for the UV LED which is just 1mA.
This light was a bundle-deal item from AliExpress (not a sponsor):-

Look for the listings that show a close up of the flashlight where all the transistors beside the LEDs are visible. (Not always a guarantee that you actually get that version.)
The price will vary depending on location and random price fluctuation. I paid £2.
The light comes with a keyring hoop, has two small built in magnets for holding it to a suitable surface and the USB-C charge port has a rubber cover that has a tab to make it easier to open.
