Ep. 4 of Mrs. America highlights Betty and gives us a little insight to her story.   Betty, being a feminist trail blazer, feels she’s been forced into the back seat of this movement, chooses to go to Illinoise to debate Phyllis, agaist the rest of the girls wishes.  Phyllis learns it takes more than a well planned argument to win a debate.  We get a little lesson on “tokenism” and that this battle isn’t as simple as men vs women.
