Grieving parents

As a bereaved mother, I could totally relate to the couple in the book. Their feelings and actions were so well-written that I felt that the author must have also suffered the death of a child. Although I cried often whilst reading this book, I wouldn't have missed doing so!

Such a great book...I haven't cried that much over a book for a long long time. .. so real...

Between a Mother and her Child

I thought this was a thoughtful and well written book that was easy to read. A book for women that tugs at the heart strings. The characters had depth and sympathy was felt for all of them. While it wasn't a very happy book I enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

very selfish Mother character

the mother was selfish, so was the father. Two unbelievable characters, no English person would behave the way they did. although the mother was austrailian, two great children who deserved mature parents.

A bit soap operish

I expected this book to have a bit more depth. I liked it, but it was all a bit soap operish for my liking. An easy and quick read though.
