Aisha radhi allaahu anha would say in dua:

عن عائشةَ أنَّها كانتْ إذا أرادَتِ النَّومَ تقولُ: اللهم إنِّي أسأَلُكَ رُؤيا صالحةً صادقةً غَيرَ كاذبةٍ، نافعةً غَيرَ ضارَّةٍ. وكانتْ إذا قالتْ هذا قد عرَفوا أنَّها غَيرُ متكلِّمةٍ بشيءٍ حتى تُصبِحَ، أو تَسْتيقِظَ مِن الليلِ.

”‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say when she intended to sleep:

‘O Allah, I ask You for a righteous, truthful dream — not false, beneficial and not harmful.’

And when she said this, they (the people around her) would know that she would not speak to anyone until morning or until she woke up during the night.”
