Following Amy Remer's cancer diagnosis in 2017, her care team was forced to amputate her left arm at the shoulder. Amy's insurance claim for a specialized prosthetic arm after this amputation was denied. This left her without the ability to perform basic tasks like packing lunches for her kids. Amy Remer recently received a donated custom robotic arm through the organization Arms for All. She has has a courageous and impactful story, and we are so pleased to have her on the show today!

Though ankle arthritis is not as common as other forms of arthritis, the condition can cause mobility issues and decrease the quality of life for those it affects. Though there is no cure for ankle arthritis, there are a number of methods to reduce symptoms for those who are suffering. One of those methods is a total ankle replacement. A total ankle replacement is surgical procedure where damaged parts of the ankle are replaced with metal and plastic to improve ankle movement and decrease pain.
