Matt and Ashley Morris are both born and raised Georgia natives. As respected songwriters and leaders in their community, Matt and Ashley write music of multiple genres that connect with people and emulate the essence of everyday living, love, hardship, and perseverance. 

With music in their blood, they were both raised with a strong respect for the craft of songwriting and the importance of telling a story well. With southern roots and a variety of musical influences including The Chicks, Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and Tom Petty, Matt and Ashley’s artistic expression is delivered through deep conviction, timeless country sounds, and soulful melodies that are sure to resonate with listeners in every stage of life.

Their most recent Country release as artists entitled Goodbye debuted at number 9 on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Country playlist. They also co-wrote Privilege with Newnan City Music that was the first single off of their debut Worship EP. From writing Country ballads like Back To Nashville to worship anthems like He Is Jesus, this writing duo continues to prove they won't be tied down to just one genre of music.

The couple resides in Senoia, Georgia with their two children.
