Between Two Boroughs

Steve Cohen was announced as the new owner of the NY Mets the day before Halloween, and since then the Mets are doing their best impression of the Yankees. The wallets are open, franchise-changing players are moving to one of the boroughs, and the boys are back to discuss.

The baseball landscape for the 2020s has a new contender, the Steve Cohen led New York Mets. The league vote has passed and the Mets have become the richest team in baseball. Both hosts are looking forward to the adrenaline shot in this rivalry that is Steve Cohen. Also, two teams competed in the Fall Classic, so it seems worth discussing.

Episode 8 of Between Two Boroughs in here! The New York Yankees lost to the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2020 ALDS, marking another season the Bronx Bombers won't be taking home the World Series Trophy. Zack rips "greedy" Yankees fans (like he isn't one of them), while Ty basks in the NYY heartbreak.

Like clockwork, the Yankees have clinched a playoff spot while the Mets miss out yet again. It's ok Mets' fans, while playoff baseball takes place in the Bronx, we will pass the time until Steve Cohen officially saves Queens.
