In Part II of this episode Sandra and I continue her personal story of her mom – a remarkable woman who despite having an addiction showed up fully as she could for her family, not shying away from her responsibilities.

In today’s episode I talk to Sandra about her emotional approach and how she coped with things around her as she moved into her 20’s and 30’s. Sandra opens up parts of her life and how she navigated some difficult times of her life, how she overcame them and not let it define nor deter her from fulfilling her own best potential.

We get to see her resilience, strength, and I personally am so impressed at how full of life she is despite all life has thrown at her. She’s here to teach us how to heal, and not let what you went through take you away from the light of life.

This week I bring to you a topic that is close to my heart and warrants a discussion, a lengthier one but I want to continue to highlight the issue around Women’s Safety.

Just within the last few weeks there has been news coming out globally of the torture of women, especially of a case from India to the Telegram rooms in South Korea.

It’s important that we understand the severity of this issue and continue to bring awareness, uplift and help others, to come together as a community to help protect the vulnerable. Equally important is having the conversation in how to get the proper help at the right time.

Lastly, in cases where justice has yet to be served, please don’t let the conversation around it die down.

Duante and I continue the conversation of Quest for Self in Part II this week. In the Quest for Self, there are different components and today we touch upon the power of now; of living in the present & how we are all interconnected.

Duante expands now how to live in your true essence, along with our infinite ability to change and flow. He also discusses some excerpts from Richard Schwartz’s ‘Internal Family System’ and quickly highlights the 3 categories of self: exiles, fighters and managers.
