Nico Littlesea, a young Wabanaki fisherman on the Maine coast, has always known the sea holds secrets. When a mysterious, dark-haired woman appears in the tidepools at dusk, his grandfather's old stories suddenly feel very real. Night after night, Nico returns to the shore to meet Meli, drawn by a connection that defies everything he understands.
