Hey, Babes,! Well here we are, a brand new year! Welcome 2021. We have waited for you like that cup of coffee you get to have the next morning and cautiously take you in, like a pair of jeans we aren't quite sure about just yet. But, you are here!  

This new year brings so much potential. However, in order to walk toward that potential, we have to first stop and take a look back. We have to do a little rewind and take an inventory of the things that pushed us, grew us and made us better. But, we also have to see the things that were hard, that broke us, that hurt us and that felt impossible to get through in order to grow and stand taller in the person we are now, from then! 

In this episode, we are doing a little bit of that. We are looking back at the year of 2020 but with a slight twist. 

Our guest of honor is a babe named Brad, or in more descriptive terms, Sarah's husband Brad. He joins us as we talk through what 2020 has been, meant and looked like for The Beverage Babes, but also shares how he and Sarah do this very same thing each year.

It's so hard to believe that this is our last episode of the year? Like, what? How did that happen? Has anyone else felt like March lasted about half the year and then there was a super awkward, trying to blink sexy but it really just looks like I have an eyelash in my eye, blink and here we are almost a week away from December? *Sarah raises her hand*  *Laura raises her hand* 

Well, it has been a crazy journey called 2020 and we are so excited to bring in our very first guest from this year, Trish Groblewski (aka Mama G), back to give some much needed wisdom and encouragement. 

In this episode, Mama G will share her heart from this past year, touching on areas of her life that were turning points and defining moments, similar to 2020 and how there really is hope ahead to look forward to.

2020 has indeed provided so many opportunities for all the emotions, all the feelings, and all the convos which we have loved having and can't wait for more! However, we wanted this episode to be a fun little break from our normal programming. We asked you—our listeners—to send in your questions, and in this episode we answered them (and threw in a few of our own to each other). These questions ranged in topic (what's our enneagram numbers?) and depth level (just wait till you hear what Sara's truly afraid of...) and we hope that at the end of this episode you will know us a little better and leave with a little less mental weight than you started.

Last week we started the story of Anna—one filled with some twists and turns, a little heartache and pain, and a walk away from the thing that grounded her the most; her faith. Today we drop Part 2 of Anna’s episode! You’ll hear how Anna found her way back to faith through the beautiful images of words on a page, and a sweet little lady named Morgan. Everyone has some but no one likes to talk about them. Some have more than others, some have less than desired, but we all have a journey with finances that end up having a huge impact of the dreams we chase and the ones we tip toe away from.   




In this episode, we get real and honest about finances, especially as it pertains to entrepreneurship. And as if finances were complex of a topic enough, we added the layer of three Sarah’s to the conversation. We (Laura and Sarah) speak to Sarah (Holland as she’ll be referred to), a stay at home/work from home mom of two and Sarah (Durkin as she’ll be referred to), a full time worker with a delicious side hustle.


We chat through the highs and lows of the financial pressure of doing your own thing in the working world, provide some insight into different spending and savings plans and highlight how each of us may have a different story, but the chapter on finances is almost always in the book.
