If we believe something, we will live according to it. There are many temptations in the world that try to get us to eventually resist God. Paul makes the case in 2 Corinthians that the church has already been presented as pure to Christ. Paul also wants to make sure that the church in Corinthians is aware of the false apostles and that they do not follow them.
