Have we lost sight of what the Gospel really means?

What if the greatest danger facing Christianity isn't that people stop talking about Jesus, but that we continue talking about Him while slowly losing the meaning of His message?

In 1 Timothy 1, he shares his own remarkable testimony of how God's mercy transformed a persecutor of the church into a passionate messenger of Christ.

His message remains just as relevant today.

 Episode 22: Tav — The Long Way Home | Psalm 119:169–176

What if getting lost isn't the end of your story—but the beginning of finding your way home?

Have you ever wondered if you've wandered too far from God? Perhaps life has taken unexpected turns, you've made mistakes you wish you could undo, or you've slowly drifted away from the faith you once held so closely. If you've ever felt spiritually lost, this episode of Beyond Belief is for you.

In Episode 22: Tav — The Long Way Home, we reach the final letter of the Hebrew alphabet and the conclusion of our journey through Psalm 119. Our focus is Psalm 119:169–176, ending with one of the most honest and moving prayers in Scripture:

How do you find peace when the world around you gives you every reason not to have it?

Welcome to Beyond Belief: The Long Way Home.

In Episode 21, we explore Psalm 119:161–168, the section of Scripture known as Shin, and discover a powerful truth about biblical peace: peace isn't the absence of storms — it's the presence of something stronger than the storm.

Life doesn't always go according to plan. Relationships become difficult, finances create uncertainty, people disappoint us, and the future can feel frighteningly unpredictable. We often respond by trying to control everything around us, believing that if we can manage enough variables, we can finally feel secure.

But what happens when life reminds us that we are not in control?

Through Psalm 119:165, we discover that God's Word offers something deeper than temporary comfort or a trouble-free life. It provides a stable foundation when everything around us feels uncertain.  Episode 20: When God Sees Your Pain | Psalm 119:153–160

What happens when you stop hiding your pain and simply ask God to see you?

In Episode 20 of Beyond Belief: The Long Way Home, we explore Psalm 119:153–160 and the Hebrew letter Resh in an honest and deeply personal reflection on suffering, faith, prayer, and the comforting presence of God.

Have you ever wondered whether God sees your pain? Have you felt the need to pretend you're okay when, deep down, you're struggling with grief, fear, loneliness, disappointment, or unanswered questions?

The Long Way Home – Episode 19: Qoph — When God Seems Silent

What do you do when you pray with everything you've got—and heaven seems quiet?

Have you ever prayed for something so desperately that, after weeks, months, or even years of waiting, you began to wonder whether God was listening? Have unanswered prayers, disappointment, or silence made it difficult to keep trusting?

In Episode 19 of Beyond Belief: The Long Way Home, we explore Psalm 119:145–152, the section known as Qoph, and discover what it means to keep praying when God seems silent.

The Psalmist cries out to God with all his heart. He seeks the Lord before dawn, asks for help, and continues to place his hope in God's Word. His example reminds us that genuine faith doesn't mean we always understand what God is doing or know when our prayers will be answered. Sometimes faith means continuing to call on the One we know, even when we cannot hear His voice.

Can you still trust the goodness of God when life doesn't make sense?

Episode 17: When Light Breaks Your Heart | Psalm 119:129–136

What happens when you begin to see the world through God's eyes—and what you see breaks your heart?

In Episode 17 of Beyond Belief: The Long Way Home, we explore Psalm 119:129–136 and discover how God's Word does more than illuminate our path. It transforms the way we see ourselves, the people around us, and the brokenness of the world.

When God's truth begins to take root in our hearts, something remarkable happens. We become more aware of the lonely, the hurting, the overlooked, and those who have lost their way. Instead of rushing to judge, we begin to ask different questions. What might be behind someone's behaviour? What pain might they be carrying? How might God be calling us to respond with compassion, wisdom, and love?

Psalm 119:136 gives us a powerful picture of a heart transformed by God's truth:

“Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.”

Why would someone weep because others are not following God's ways? Perhaps because genuine spiritual maturity is not simply about knowing more. It's about learning to love more.

Then take time to listen. Don't rush to fix, lecture, or prepare your response. Listen with compassion, remain wise about healthy boundaries, and ask God to show you how to respond in love.

Episode 16: AYIN — When Life Isn't Fair | Psalm 119:121–128

What do you do when you've tried to do the right thing—and life still treats you unfairly?

The takeaway: What happened to you does not have to determine what comes from you.

You can seek justice without becoming unjust. You can acknowledge pain without becoming bitter. You can stand up for what is right without losing your compassion.

What happens when you want God—but you also want control, comfort, approval, certainty, and your own way?

In Episode 15 of Beyond Belief: The Long Way Home, we enter Samekh, exploring Psalm 119:113–120 and one of the most challenging realities of the spiritual life: the divided heart.
