Ann Lee Hussey, a polio survivor, has made the eradication of polio her life’s work. She has actively participated in 25 volunteer National Immunization Days, in places often not seen by westerners, where the need is greatest and the goodwill is as critical as the immunizations. She is determined no child will suffer what she, a polio survivor, has been through. Ann Lee’s work has earned her a Champion of Change award from President Barack Obama and the Rotary Service Above Self Award.
