Taylor was a standout player at Beaver Country Day High School in Chestnut Hill, Ma, where he helped lead the Beavers to the 2012 New Preparatory School Athletic Council Class B Championship. He was a 2-year captain as well.  Played at North Carolina AT&T (Freshman Year) Western Texas College (Juco) (1 year) Finished at Niagara University (2 years) and graduated.  Played in places like the Czech Republic and El Salvador.
