Beyond Soil Sustainability Colin Seis Presentation 

Colin Seiss from Gulgong NSW is a prominent leader in regenerative agriculture, renown for his innovative pasture cropping solutions in Australia. The author of "Custodians of the Grasslands"; "Welcome to Winona: The Home of Pasture Cropping" winona.net.au; and "Working Dogs: Training for sheep & Cattle".

Stuart Austin reflects on the presentations of Gabe Brown and Col Seis followed by the Yirindaali dreamtime story of the Liverpool Plains, this story hopes to inspire a deeper appreciation for the Gamilaroi culture and the importance of preserving these sacred stories for future generations . Including comments from Col Seis on acknowledging the role of aboriginal people in managing the land and looking after the country so well for so long before farming began and the lessons to be learnt from this.

Walter Jehne - from Canberra is an internationally known Australian soil microbiologist and climate researcher. Walter's work provides practical strtegies includingrestoring the structure and function of "the soil sponge" in order to reverse desertification, increase nutritional integrity of crops and provide resilience to drought, flooding, heatwaves and wildfires. Walter is known for his ability to explain the complex interrelationships between biology, geology, weather patterns, rainfall, and regional and global heat dynamics, with clear simple language centered around practical and innovative design solutions.
