Joe quietly introduced a much deeper bench of women: allies, operatives, legacy characters, international exclusives, tragic heroes, and even a few who should’ve been way bigger deals. In this video, I’m digging into the overlooked, forgotten, and sometimes downright weird women of G.I. Joe history—drawing from Marvel comics, Sunbow cartoons, international toy lines, Devil’s Due, IDW, and beyond—to see how they expanded the mythos, for better or worse, and why some of them still deserve a place on the shelf.
