Asha Thomas, a standout former player from the University of California, Berkeley, has recently joined the Sacramento State women’s basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach. Thomas had a remarkable collegiate career at Cal, where she set the school record for three-pointers made with 233, ranked fourth in career assists with 485, and finished 15th on the all-time scoring list with 1,001 points. Known for her durability and leadership, she started 130 out of 131 games during her four years with the Golden Bears.
Thomas's playing career was distinguished by several accolades, including an All-Pac-12 selection and an All-Freshman team honor. She helped lead Cal to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and achieved three consecutive 20-win seasons. Notably, she excelled in her junior year, averaging 12.8 points per game and leading the Pac-12 in free throw percentage.

Julia Allender aka Coach “Julz” was a successful women's basketball college coach for 13 years. In her tenure as a head coach, she created a culture of success both on and off the court. In just a short time she took two collegiate programs and turned them into high-powered programs where they were constantly in the discussion as one of the top women's basketball programs across the state of California.
Julz had a winning percentage of over 70%, won 3 conference championships, 3 coach of the year honors, had 9 state playoff births and finished ranked in the top 10 in the state 3 years. Marking those as the best seasons in both program's history.
More importantly, it has been Julz's ability to develop high school athletes and turn them into successful collegiate basketball players and then transfer them with basketball scholarships to the next level in one or two years, the main job of every community college coach.

He provides psychological and human system expertise to the Head Coach, General Manager, and Vice President as well as their staff within a variety of responsibilities including talent acquisition, talent management, and education, as well as providing insights so they can process and generate solutions when managing talent and organizational demands. He also provides clinical and performance psychology to the athletes.
Dr. Goldman is the creator of the Athletic Intelligence Quotient (AIQ), an intelligence test that assesses the innate cognitive abilities that are most utilized in attaining, developing, and applying athletic skills, strategies, and tactics. The test is being used by Olympic, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and MLB teams, as well as multiple Power 5 Universities and E-Sport teams.
Dr. Goldman is the current Performance Psychologist for Golden State Warriors and has previously worked with the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Washington Wizards, University of Michigan, University of Arizona, and Saint Louis.
