With both MD and PhD degrees, his research focuses on regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, developing novel therapies to rebuild tissue damaged by disease and trauma.
A committed humanitarian, Dr. Caterson serves on the HHS Trauma Critical Care Team and has performed surgery on every continent except Antarctica. He partners with organizations like Operation Smile and the Department of Defense, while leading research initiatives in stem cells and tissue regeneration.
His work with the Human Performance Project aims to help mission-critical organizations achieve peak performance.
