Some of the behaviors just aren't going away, but there are ways that we can help them disguise then in ways that make them more socially acceptable.

In order to best serve your child, get to know what makes them tick. See what helps them feel comfortable and helps them regulate their moods- and then help them find compromises that let them merge into society without standing out in an uncomfortable way.

I'm sure you can identify some of your own behaviors that you've been able to disguise as you've grown.... now help them!

Make a game of it...be their partner in this! Enjoy the journey!
