Language was building in his mind; vocabulary exploding! But context and emotion are special nuances that add so much more meaning behind the words.

I remember watching him struggle with his first language as if it were he were learning a second language as an adult. Each new phrase and collection of nouns and verbs that he added to his brain made us beam with pride. But...those three little words were missing something.

I will never forget the flood of joy that overflowed when they finally came with meaning!
