Music by our Mikey ❤️

As I was editing this episode, I was laughing as I was cutting out all the "gushy" stuff that Mikey probably would have yelled at me for keeping in. hahaha  But, I really wish I could have kept it in.  He's really quite an extraordinary boy. (sorry, he tells me he's not a boy anymore. hahaha  but I correct him and tell him he will always be my boy!)  I loved listening back over this episode and remembering all that we've gone through- thick and thin, and how we are stronger for it.  Of course this journey focuses on Mikey - but how I'd love to really gush over the rest of my family too.  But they know that we do this as a team, and that no one stand out more than the other.  We are unified and strong and I'm so proud of how our hearts are so knit together in love and support and trust.  Maybe I'm more emotional over this episode because it's more recent, and all these things are still fresh in my mind.  I don't know, but I'm just sitting here smiling, content.

No matter which part of the journey you're in, I hope you have those seasons of respite too - where you can look back and take a deep breath, and enjoy where you're at, and where you're going.
